Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 essays as follows:
1st Prize = $1,000
2nd Prize = $300
3rd Prize = $200

INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are to submit [1] a complete Scholarship Application (can be printed and mailed or completed on our website), [2] a minimum 1,000 word essay that answers the question below, [3] an official high school transcript verifying enrollment, and [4] proof of acceptance to a college or university. 

The essays will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Writing quality
• The thoughtfulness of the proposed response
• Originality

The winner of the contest will be notified by email on 11/30/20.
