What I want to talk about in this video is basically my philosophy and how I handle personal injury cases and what makes me different from all the other personal injury lawyers and personal injury law firms that you see on buses, on TV commercials, or even find on the internet.
And what I think makes me unique is, and I know it might sound cliche, but I put my client’s interests first and I developed a reputation over the course of my career in putting my client’s interests first and taking care of their needs. Now I cut my teeth on commercial litigation and business litigation cases and also criminal defense cases as a young lawyer, which is a, it’s, it’s a pretty odd combination. So I learned at a very early stage in my career, not only to litigate sophisticated cases with, um, complex documents and accounting work against some of the silk stocking law firms around town, uh, but also doing criminal defense, getting your hands dirty, getting in the trenches and litigating and protecting people. And so I learned as a young lawyer, uh, the value of not only hard work, but also the attention to protecting clients and their money.
Because again, when you do commercial litigation, you’re billing by the hour and again, your clients are expected to pay that when you’re doing criminal defense work, you’re charging people flat fees and that you’re expecting them to pay you either on payment plans or in lump sum, lump sum payments, their hard earned money. And so unlike unlike personal injury world that the personal injury world, which is really a bizarre type of world, uh, and a lot of the personal injury lawyers that you meet, uh, are real characters. Um, and this whole philosophy about sticking it to the insurance company and all that. Uh, at the end of the day, my philosophy I think is a little bit different.
