ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A motorcyclist was critically injured after he was thrown from his bike after getting into a crash early Friday morning in St. Pete.
At 6:42 a.m., the 28-year-old motorcyclist was following behind a driver in a Toyota Sedan heading southbound on 4th Street North.
As the Sedan was making a left turn onto Southwest Monroe Circle North, the motorcyclist hit their vehicle.
After the collision, the motorcyclist was thrown off his bike during a subsequent crash involving a GMC pickup truck who also traveling southbound on 4th Street North. Officials said they are still working out the details of the collision involving the GMC.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital in stable, but critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
